Job summary

Emprise Bank is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen our IT security program. You will manage vulnerability management, DLP, identity and access management, vendor due diligence, and tier 3 end-user support in a fast-paced banking environment.

You will work with leadership to stay ahead of threats, perform root-cause analyses, implement secure IAM practices, and ensure compliance with security controls for confidential data.

Qualifications

• College Degree or level of education that, together with industry experience, enables the applicant to meet the job requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of SIEM platforms, malware applications (Windows Defender, Symantec, etc.), threat detection and analysis, patch management systems, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with VMware, Hypervisor, Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), Office 365 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily IT Security operations: patch management, vulnerability scanning, threat detection and remediation.
• Stay current on emerging threats and communicate findings to leadership.
• Lead project activities and root cause analysis for the IT Security program.
• Develop and maintain IAM solutions and enforce least-privilege access.
• Develop, review, and test the bank's DLP controls annually.
• Vet new vendors with due diligence surveys and annual reviews for critical vendors; own security due diligence process.
• Serve as Tier 3 end-user security escalation: diagnose, resolve, and document resolutions.
