Job summary

Emprise Bank in Wichita, KS is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to protect data, systems and networks through monitoring, response and proactive hardening.

You will plan, implement, and manage security controls, perform log analysis, patch management, and SIEM administration while collaborating with internal teams and vendors. Strong problem-solving, communication, and security expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of cyber security/infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Firewalls, SIEM, Office 365 Security, Cloud technologies.
• Experience implementing multi-factor authentication, SSO and modern identity management.
• Ability to work on-call for service issues/outages.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures.
• Troubleshoot security and network problems.
• Respond to security alerts and perform log analysis.
• Manage forensics, data logs and incident response.
• Ensure data and infrastructure are protected with appropriate controls.
• Test and remediate vulnerabilities; patch management.
• SIEM administration, configuration and response.
• Collaborate on bank projects as security SME; vendor due diligence.
