Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a CX/UX professional to join our remote data team supporting the DHS OCIO. You will craft user friendly designs, conduct user research, and iterate based on stakeholder feedback to improve dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities include creating flows and prototypes, applying accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2), and leveraging modern design tools to deliver high-quality, autonomous solutions for mission-critical workloads.

Qualifications

• Audit UI data for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Identify UX improvements to streamline reporting and analytics.
• Translate complex data and requirements into usable interfaces.
• Strong fluency in Figma and modern design tooling; AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience integrating usability testing and product analytics.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and accessibility by default.
• Operate autonomously to ship high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create user friendly designs to enhance usability and propose elegant solutions for design challenges.
• Present design ideas via mockups, presentations and detailed specifications.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user behavior and pain points.
• Iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback and evolving requirements.
• Create flows, journey maps, wireframes and prototypes that communicate design concepts clearly.
• Apply UX best practices to ensure accessibility, clarity and ease of use.
• Develop hi-fi mockups and interactive prototypes with Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD.
• Maintain design specs, components and style guides.
