Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a customer service professional for the 2nd shift in Romulus, MI to ensure timely release and movement of freight. You will prepare documentation, communicate with customers and partners, and resolve issues affecting delivery timelines.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and at least 6 months in brokerage, transportation, or customer service. Proficiency in MS Office and 10-key data entry is expected, with remote work capability for certain tasks.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of brokerage or transportation experience and/or customer service experience preferred.
• MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with high quality service and resolve issues to ensure timely freight movement.
• Prepare and submit documentation to customs and other parties in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Analyze and resolve problems delaying release or movement of freight; maintain relationships with brokers and partners.
• Perform data input, route cause analysis, and post-entry activity coordination for customers.
