Job summary

Westlake Plastics is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a remote role serving the Midwest/Western region. You will handle inquiries, process orders, provide product details, and coordinate with production and shipping teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in customer service within manufacturing, strong communication, and proficiency with CRM/ERP systems and MS Office. Benefits include medical and 401K, with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Familiarity with plastics manufacturing or related industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide accurate product information, including material specifications, pricing, lead times, and availability.
• Process customer orders accurately using the company’s ERP or order management system.
• Coordinate with production, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Communicate updates on order status, shipping details, and potential delays to customers.
• Address customer complaints or concerns and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Maintain detailed records in the CRM system and prepare customer service metrics.
