Job summary

Account Control Technology is hiring a Remote Customer Service/Sales Rep. This is a remote/work-from-home role based in the US with a $15.00/hour compensation and a Monday–Friday training schedule 8am–5pm EST.

After training, hours span 7am–7pm EST, with potential bonuses for meeting KPIs and handling customer inquiries and sales of products like water heaters and surge protection. You will document accounts, explain statuses, and adhere to regulations while supporting customers and driving

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Effective call handling skills and high levels of professionalism.
• Strong shift attendance is required.
• One to two years' experience in a call center environment preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications and able to learn software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Proactively discuss and recommend additional products and services during qualified calls.
• Potential for monthly/quarterly bonus based on sales performance.
• Assist customers with inquiries and concerns.
• Ensure account information is accurately documented in the client system.
• Provide clear explanations of account status to customers.
• Adhere to State and Federal regulations pertaining to duties.
• Assist customers with delinquent accounts according to state guidelines.

Responsibilities

In This Role, You Will:

• Proactively and consistently discuss and recommend additional products and services to customers during qualified calls, including, water heaters, surge protection solutions, and in-home electrical wiring options.
• Potential for monthly and quarterly bonus based on sales performance for meeting client mandated KPIs
• Assist customers with inquiries/concerns
• Ensure all account information is accurately documented and inputted into client system
• Provide detailed explanations of account status and inquiries to customers
• Adhere to State and Federal regulations pertaining to your job duties
• Assist customers with delinquent accounts according to various state guidelines
• Consistently discuss additional product and service offerings with customers on qualified calls
• Utilize exceptional communication skills to fulfill both client and customer goals

• Adhere to Production measures (time spent on calls, schedule adherence, etc.)

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Detail oriented and have the ability to organize and prioritize work and meet strict deadlines as well as the ability to effectively communicate with outside parties.
• Effective call handling skills and high levels of professionalism are required.
• A strong focus on exemplary shift attendance is required.
• One to two years' experience working in a call center environment is preferred.
• The candidate has to be proficient with Microsoft applications, and have the ability to learn software applications
• A High School graduate/ equivalent is required.

For Remote Positions:

Minimum internet speed requirements for remote work are as follows:

• Broadband internet connection (No DSL, or Dial Up)
• Hard wired connection required (no Wi‑Fi, Wi‑Fi hotspots)
• Speed Test Results: 25 mbps download, 20 mbps upload

*Camera requirements Cameras are required to be on during training from start to end of each shift (not including breaks and lunches)
