Title: Remote Customer Experience Specialist

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Temporary (3+ months), Full-Time

Pay Rate: $20-21 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST (flexible)

Start Date: Immediate

Join a leading plastics manufacturing company as a Customer Experience Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to B2B clients. This temporary, remote role (3+ months) offers the chance to work with a close-knit, high-energy team dedicated to collaboration and excellence. What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, responding to inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Process customer purchase orders, sales quotes, samples, credits, and return requests.
  • Manage customer escalations, ensuring prompt and positive resolutions.
  • Use Salesforce to track projects, new business opportunities, and sales follow-ups.
  • Support the commercial team with quotes, sample requests, and occasional customer visits.
  • Collaborate with a tight-knit team to maintain a high standard of customer service.
  • Participate in meetings to drive customer experience improvements.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 2+ years in customer service or inside sales within a manufacturing environment (plastics preferred, e.g., Amcor, Berry Global, Silgan, Pretium Packaging).
  • Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school, or 1+ year of relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Salesforce.
    • Strong verbal and written communication for customer and stakeholder interactions.
    • High sense of urgency, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
    • Team-oriented mindset with a genuine willingness to help others.
  • Preferred Background: Experience in B2B customer service within plastics or packaging industries.
