Job summary

Molex is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to coordinate all internal quality activities for assigned customer products and strategic accounts. This role supports Molex entities globally and requires collaboration with customers, suppliers, DSS, ODMs and CMs.

The position is remote with a preference for applicants in Texas. You will review quality data, manage 8D responses, and drive quality improvements across multiple sites, including travel to various customer and CM locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a Quality role.
• Demonstrated experience in multisite manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading quality improvement with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to travel to customer or CM sites within the Mexico region.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality activities and communications for assigned customers and Molex entities.
• Review quality data and coordinate actions for QN, SQA and improvements.
• Serve as first contact for quality issues from customers or CMs.
• Assign concerns to Molex personnel and provide global expediting for QNs.
• Coordinate and communicate action items to meet quality targets.
• Schedule quality meetings with customers, CMs, and Molex teams.
