Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is seeking a Customer Experience Representative to deliver world-class service to members, employers, and providers. This role may work remotely or onsite per policy and requires residency in Kansas or Missouri or willingness to relocate.

You will handle inquiries about benefits, eligibility, coverage, and claims while collaborating with multiple departments to resolve issues promptly and empathetically.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• College or continuing education in communications and/or medical fields is preferred.
• Two years of navigating multiple computer systems is preferred.
• Two years of customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research, resolve, and respond to inquiries via telephone, written, and email communications.
• Handle inquiries regarding contract benefits, eligibility, coverage, and plan changes.
• Resolve inquiries and complaints in a timely and accurate manner per company and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with peers and other departments to find effective solutions.
