Job summary

HRforGrowth is seeking an experienced Remote Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) for a 13-week assignment. The role involves abstracting complex oncology cases, ensuring high data quality, and working fully remotely.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of CTR experience, an active CTR/ODS certification, and the ability to manage multi-facility abstracts and BMT cases with precision. Remote work from the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent Certified Tumor Registrar experience.
• Current CTR/ODS certification (verification and issue date required).
• Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree a plus.
• Experience abstracting complex oncology cases.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Abstract oncology cases according to national cancer registry standards.
• Code diagnoses, treatments, staging, and follow-up information.
• Handle complex oncology cases including BMT and multi-facility abstracts.
• Complete user-defined registry fields and maintain registry integrity.
• Aim for minimum 90% accuracy (target 95%).
• Utilize registry software and EMR systems effectively.
• Ensure compliance with CTR/ODS standards and regulatory requirements.
