Job summary

AnaVation invites undergraduates to join a 2027 Summer Internship Program focused on software design, coding, debugging, cyber security, and data science. The ten-week paid internship is remote, with local collaboration possible in San Antonio, TX, and offers mentoring, workshops, and hands-on projects.

Ideal candidates are Computer Science majors graduating May 2028, with a 3.0 GPA, strong analytical and math skills, and experience in Java, Python, and Agile/Scrum.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Computer Science degree with graduation May 2028.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain a US government security clearance.
• Proficiency in Java and Python; experience with NodeJS.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and group programming projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication; teamwork.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Support software design, coding, debugging, cybersecurity and data science projects.
• Collaborate with teams remotely or in-person on project work.
• Develop applications and prototypes; present to leadership.
• Gain exposure to government contracting and IT development.
• Participate in mentoring and professional development activities.
