Job summary

Bamboo Works is seeking a Customer Support Specialist for fintech and crypto payments to join as the first dedicated support hire. You will handle inquiries via live chat and email, guide users through onboarding, verification, and platform navigation, and resolve transaction issues with care.

This fully remote, independent contractor role offers a monthly rate of US$1,200–$1,600 depending on experience. You’ll work fixed Bahamas Eastern Time hours and help shape a fast-growing customer support

Qualifications

3+ years in customer support within fintech, payments, or crypto.
Experience handling inquiries via live chat and email.
Strong written and spoken English with clear explanations.
Familiarity with card payments and transaction troubleshooting.
Knowledge of onboarding, KYC, and verification processes.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for inquiries through live chat, email, and other written channels.
Handle phone or video calls when needed for detailed assistance.
Guide customers through onboarding, verification, and platform navigation.
Explain platform features and transaction processes clearly.
Investigate concerns and provide timely, accurate resolutions.
Own cases from initial contact through resolution, per SOPs.
Maintain professional communication throughout the customer journey.
