Job summary

QBE is seeking a Claims Adjuster - Crop to investigate and process crop claims, conduct field inspections, and communicate with stakeholders in North Dakota. The role is fully remote with about 20% home office work and 80% field work.

The position offers a national scope within the United States, with a base salary range of $56,000 to $84,000 and eligibility for QBE’s discretionary bonus plan based on performance. Prior insur ance and agriculture experience are valuable.

Qualifications

• Secondary school certification is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete field inspections, reviews and adjustments accurately and efficiently to administer crop insurance policies.
• Ensure compliance with insurance statutes and regulations to apply crop policies cost-effectively.
• Build and maintain customer relationships through timely and accurate policy service.
• Document and transmit loss information accurately to assess potential damages.
• Support business objectives through quality control tasks, audits, and risk assessments.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others positively.
