CVS Health's Aetna Mental Well-being team seeks an EAP Clinical Counselor to provide 24/7 telephone-based assessments, triage and counseling to members across the United States. This fully remote role supports the EAP, Resources for Living program and delivers timely mental health care in a call-center setting.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, safety planning, care level recommendations and helping members access resources.

Competenze

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent professional behavioral health clinical license to practice per state regulations (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, LCMHC, LICSW, LISW, Clinical Psychologist).
• 24x7x365 call center coverage needed, holiday coverage is expected.
• Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.
• Experience in handling mental health, psychiatric care, family situations and relationship concerns preferred.

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, consultation, counseling and information services in a call center.
• Conduct risk, substance abuse and mental health assessments to develop immediate action/safety plans.
• Recommend appropriate levels of care based on the assessment and need.
• Inform members about mental health resources and link to community treatment options.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure positive clinical outcomes and continuity of care.
• Multitask by typing/documenting while assisting with call handling.
• Maintain confidentiality per enterprise policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain current independent behavioral health license in the state of residence.
