Job summary

Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is seeking a motivated Credit & Portfolio Analyst to join Habitat Capital (HCap), a nationally certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). The Analyst will support credit underwriting, portfolio management, investor relations, marketing and communications to advance housing and community development initiatives.

Based at HFHI or HQ with remote U.S.

Qualifications

Education: Undergraduate (required) in a related field.
Years of Related Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience (including internships).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with CDFI lending, tax credits, impact investing; experience building models and data analysis; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Loan Origination and Underwriting: conduct credit analysis, due diligence, structuring, financial statement analysis, and memo support for investment decisions.
Portfolio Management: support reporting, collateral substitutions, loan prepayments, and investor reporting.
Research & Analysis: provide borrower, property, and market data; develop models, charts, tables, and templates for lending initiatives.
General Operations: develop investor presentations, support training materials, assist in funding proposals and special projects.
