Job summary
Blue Forest, a conservation finance nonprofit, is seeking a Credit Manager to underwrite conservation finance transactions, manage debt investments, and support portfolio operations. You will collaborate with borrowers, legal counsel, investors, and internal teams to structure and execute transactions aligned with FRBs and related programs.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in private lending or investment management, strong financial modeling, and proven negotiating skills.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in finance, private lending, investment management, structured finance, impact investing, or conservation finance.
- Strong background in financial modeling and analysis.
- Experience negotiating loan agreements and performing due diligence.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite conservation finance loans (e.g., Forest Resilience Bonds) and conduct borrower diligence.
- Help design and close conservation finance funds and investment vehicles.
- Monitor loan-level performance, cash flows, and financial models.
- Oversee portfolio governance, risk management, and investor reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to advance investment strategy.
