Job summary

Sierra Forest Products is seeking a Credit Manager to lead credit governance for U.S. operations, partnering with the Director of Credit to ensure sound risk decisions and compliance. You will manage portfolio reporting and credit investigations across multiple regions.

The role requires a finance-related degree and 5–10+ years of B2B credit management, plus strong analytical and negotiation skills to protect working capital while enabling profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
• 5–10+ years of progressive B2B credit management experience across multiple divisions or regions.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and translate analysis into credit decisions.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable, collections, disputes, and order release/hold controls.
• Experience with U.S. credit insurance programs and compliance requirements.
• Strong negotiation and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports credit governance across U.S. divisions by ensuring consistent application of policy and documentation.
• Supports the Director of Credit with portfolio reporting and executive-ready analysis.
• Conducts in-depth credit investigations including financial statement analysis and external reviews.
• Ensures compliance with U.S. credit insurance requirements and governance.
• Leads senior-level negotiations with high-value U.S. customers on terms and settlements.
• Partners with Sales to align credit decisions with commercial objectives.
• Provides cross-divisional and cross-regional support on complex credit matters.
• Leads by example with disciplined credit judgment and governance compliance.
