Allegion is hiring a Credit & Collections Analyst I-US Remote to manage an accounts receivable portfolio of diversified customers. Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to maximize collections in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires a BS/BA in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent experience), excellent communication, and detail orientation. It offers a remote schedule with occasional on-site visits and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or other Business degree.
• Equivalent work experience — 2 years minimum.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Professional business image and team-player attitude.
• Ability to negotiate and communicate judgments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and PC literate (MS Office).
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize work to meet collection metrics.
• Use collection software to reduce delinquency and improve DSO.
• Respond to inquiries, billing errors, and disputes promptly.
• Proactively contact customers about past-due receivables.
• Provide phone support to sales offices and customers.
• Build and maintain business relationships with customers and sales staff.
• Monitor portfolio to ensure compliance with approved programs.
• Recommend changes to existing programs and seek management input.
• Prepare and submit over-line approval requests.
• Reconcile accounts and manage disputed items.
