The Credit Associate, Fund & Sponsor Banking will serve as a credit specialist to drive loan growth, analyze client performance, and coordinate with the Grasshopper credit team. This role supports AI-based underwriting and requires strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience.
At least 4 years of relevant banking experience.
Experience analyzing Fund and Sponsor Banking deals; underwriting C&I credits.
Ability to communicate clearly across all levels of staff and external contacts.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
High regard for details and accuracy in every transaction.
Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Serve as the credit specialist to help drive loan growth across the bank's loan products.
Lead review and analysis of prospective client performance and debt needs.
Build strong relationships with borrowers, RMs, and clients.
Monitor performance of existing borrowers and raise concerns as needed.
Conduct financial analysis of credit and collateral with trend forecasting.
Test covenants and risk assessments as needed.
Input financial information in loan systems and produce management reports.
Communicate with clients and leadership to resolve loan issues.
Assist RMs with covenant reporting and payment collection.
