Job summary

The Jel Sert Company is seeking a Credit Analyst to support cash application and accounts receivable processes, including data entry of cash receipts, ACH and deposits in the ERP system.

This temporary position requires attention to detail, strong MS Excel and Word skills, and the ability to communicate across departments. Minimum 1-2 years in cash application is preferred; compensation starts at $21.25 per hour, with no benefits due to temporary status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cash application in ERP systems.
• Accounting experience preferred.
• Basic to intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of Cash Receipts, ACH & Manual Deposits into current Accounts Receivable system.
• Adjust invoices for differences in discount amounts.
• Create debits on customer accounts for deductions/short payments and assign the appropriate reason code.
• Verify and balance daily cash receipts.
• Assist with related special projects as assigned by Credit Manager.
