Job summary

OneOncology, LLC, is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage all aspects of privileging and credentialing for physicians and allied health professionals. You will verify applications, research details, and ensure compliance with medical staff procedures, while maintaining confidential files.

Remote work with travel flexibility is required, and you will interact with managed care organizations and hospitals to complete credentialing, re-credentialing, and audits in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 2+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Training experience preferred but not required.
• Industry experience leading credentialing activities in large provider practice is required.
• Certifications preferred but not required.
• Working remote with travel flexibility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Credentialing and re-credentialing of physicians and allied health professionals.
• Completion, submission and tracking of credentialing applications with managed care organizations and hospitals.
• Apply and validate hospital privileges.
• Obtain malpractice insurance policy.
• Notify staff of credentialing completion for scheduling and billing.
• Maintain CAQH online credentialing application for all providers quarterly.
• Database management/provider files and maintaining credentialing information.
• Track clinical licenses for nursing, pharmacy, and lab personnel.
• Notify providers of deficiencies and audits; handle terminations as needed.
