Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a Senior Director, Credentialing to lead enterprise credentialing, enrollment, licensing, and onboarding across the platform. You will set strategy, standards, and dashboards, drive automation, and ensure regulatory compliance while partnering with RCM, operations, and practice leadership to enable growth and timely provider activation.

Location is remote with 25% travel; you will mentor leaders, manage metrics, and advance enterprise-wide programs that improve efficiency

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive healthcare credentialing, enrollment, and provider operations experience.
• 5+ years of management experience in credentialing/enrollment.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale credentialing across multiple states or groups.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or rapid growth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for credentialing, provider enrollment, and licensing operations, ensuring scalable, compliant processes across markets.
• Develop and execute a long-term credentialing and enrollment strategy that accelerates provider onboarding and minimizes revenue disruption.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team with accountability and excellence.
• Establish performance standards and KPIs for credentialing and enrollment operations across the enterprise.
• Serve as executive sponsor for provider onboarding initiatives ensuring alignment across teams to achieve timely activation and revenue readiness.
• Direct development, implementation, and governance of credentialing, enrollment, and licensing policies ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Champion large-scale process transformation to optimize workflows, reduce cycle times, and drive efficiency.
• Lead technology adoption to improve automation, data integrity, and reporting capabilities.
• Act as executive SME for credentialing and enrollment, advising on strategy, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Establish enterprise reporting and analytics strategies providing insights into credentialing performance and revenue impact.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle Management to govern credentialing-related reimbursement risks and payer enrollment performance.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to support growth strategies, acquisitions, and market expansion.
• Lead readiness and integration for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless credentialing and onboarding transitions.
• Develop enterprise risk management frameworks for credentialing and enrollment operations.
• Represent credentialing in executive discussions to support objectives and long-term value.
