MedPOINT Management is seeking a detail-oriented HDO Credentialing Coordinator to join our team in Sherman Oaks, CA. This role focuses on ensuring credentialing and compliance for healthcare providers in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage end-to-end credentialing, verify licenses, and maintain provider records while coordinating with hospitals, medical groups, and plans to secure timely approvals. Remote position supporting PT hours and Pacific Time zone.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in healthcare credentialing or medical staff services.
• Familiarity with NCQA, URAC, or Joint Commission credentialing standards.
• Experience with credentialing software and provider data management systems.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing for HDO providers.
• Verify credentials, licenses, certifications, and work history per NCQA and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate provider records in credentialing databases and systems.
• Coordinate with hospitals, medical groups, and health plans to facilitate credentialing approvals.
• Monitor expiring credentials and initiate renewal to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and present credentialing files for Credentialing Committee review.
• Respond to provider and internal inquiries regarding credentialing status and requirements.
