Crowd Collabs is seeking a highly creative Social Media Manager / Content Creator to own and grow the brand on Instagram and TikTok. This freelance/part-time role can be remote or based in Chicago, with the freedom to shape the voice, visuals, and storytelling across platforms.

You will produce content from concept to publication, build content calendars, film and edit videos, create graphics, and collaborate with artists and merch launches.

Qualifications

• Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Stories and short-form video expertise.
• Content creator first, not just scheduling posts.
• Turn rough concepts into finished content independently.
• Strong video shooting and editing skills with quick hooks.
• Creative mindset with new concepts rather than waiting for briefs.
• Understand music culture, fan culture, trends and internet culture.

Responsibilities

• Own the social strategy and content calendar for Instagram and TikTok, with a consistent mix of brand, artist, merch, design and trend content.
• Create content from concept through publication: ideation, filming, editing, copywriting, graphics, publishing and format adaptation.
• Showcase new fan-designed merch through graphics, posts, stories, reels and TikToks to drive clicks and sales.
• Develop repeatable content series and concepts that make Crowd Collabs recognizable.
• Lead artist and merch launches on social, announcing new artists and products.
• Coordinate social collaborations with artists and managers for amplification.
• Build an active community around the platform with artists, designers, fans and customers.
• Use performance data to drive strategy: reach, engagement, traffic, links, and sales.
• Experiment constantly with hooks, formats and calls-to-action to grow the brand.
