Job summary

Armada is seeking a Creative Operations Manager to drive production pipelines, ensuring on-time delivery of creative projects and efficient vendor management. You’ll oversee budgeting, pre/post production, and gear logistics, while maintaining premium brand standards across shoots.

Ideal candidates will have 4–7 years in production or creative operations, strong project management, and hands-on AV knowledge. Based in LA, travel is required for shoots and field productions.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in production, creative operations, or a hybrid producer/project manager role
• Proven ability to run multiple complex projects and build systems to track commitments and deadlines
• Experience sourcing, hiring, and managing creative contractors and vendors, with a sharp eye for talent
• Comfort building and managing budgets and tracking spend against them
• Hands-on AV knowledge: capable of specifying camera packages and audio gear
• Sharp soft skills for difficult vendor conversations and staying calm on set
• Open to travel on short notice, including international and remote locations

Responsibilities

• Own project management for all internal and external creative projects: set timelines, track status, flag risks, and keep every workstream moving
• Source, vet, and manage creative contractors and vendors: photographers, editors, motion designers, illustrators, print production houses, and equipment suppliers
• Produce shoots end-to-end: pre-production planning, budgeting, gear rentals, travel and lodging, on-set logistics, and post-production coordination
• Travel domestically and internationally to support shoots, events, and field productions
• Manage Armada's merch program: vendor relationships, design approvals, quality control, order fulfillment, and ongoing inventory
• Help scope new creative endeavors: research vendors, methods, and costs to take ideas from zero to one
