Job summary

AllTrails, a home to the world’s largest outdoor community, is seeking a Creative Lead, Brand Design. You will set the tone for brand design, crafting campaigns that connect millions to the outdoors and elevating the team’s craft across channels.

You will lead by example, producing best-in-class brand creative while mentoring the team. The role supports a remote-first culture with opportunities to connect in person for Trail Days and regional gatherings, with a closing date of November 6th for

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience leading global brand campaigns.
• Experience leading projects in a senior creative role such as a Design Lead, Art Director, or Senior Designer.
• Extensive experience concepting and designing across multiple mediums and channels.
• Strong execution of typography, layout, color, form and composition.
• Outstanding portfolio demonstrating crafted design that resonates with audiences.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for articulating design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Act as Creative Leader on the Brand Design team, setting an example and raising the bar with original, crafted creative grounded in insights.
• Lead evergreen assets shaping our brand visual language, including art direction, color, typography, illustration, photo/video, and motion.
• Collaborate with Design Leadership to evolve AllTrails' visual brand at scale.
• Concept and execute global integrated campaigns across digital, social, lifecycle, OOH, film, experiential, and in-product.
• Work with marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to create campaigns that build love for the brand and product.
• Make design decisions quickly based on goals, audience insight, and business context.
• Lead design exercises/workshops and drive alignment on principles to elevate brand design.
• Develop core creative ideas addressing business problems to translate into executions.
• Foster a respectful, collaborative team environment rich in creativity.
