Job summary

Public Servants offers a part-time, remote internship (1099) where you’ll contribute to video editing, illustration, motion, and storytelling tasks. Interns select top 2–3 focus areas and work with the Founder & CEO, gaining hands-on experience on public interest projects. Expect flexible hours and credit for published work.

You’ll join a small remote creative community, with opportunities for peer learning and portfolio development. Fall 2026 timeline with October–December sessions.

Qualifications

• Portfolio or work samples showing creative work.
• Experience in at least one creative area.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and based in the U.S.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Clip long-form content into social-ready segments.
• Create illustrations and visual assets for blogs and websites.
• Produce simple animations or motion graphics as needed.
• Apply brand overlays, templates, and captions.
• Repackage existing content into new formats for growth platforms.
• Optional: participate in discussions or critique sessions.
• Engage with peers in a remote creative community.
