Job summary

Axiom is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Finance Attorney to support a sophisticated lender-focused practice in a remote setting. You will advise on multifamily agency finance transactions, draft and negotiate loan documents, and collaborate with origination, servicing, and asset management teams.

You should bring 4+ years of CRE finance experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a JD license. Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA/HUD programs is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of legal experience.
• Experience representing lenders in CRE financing transactions secured by multifamily properties.
• Knowledge of CRE loan documentation, title insurance, surveys, zoning and post-closing covenants.
• Licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Advise on commercial real estate financing transactions secured by multifamily properties, with lender-side representation focus.
• Draft, review, and negotiate loan, servicing, and related transaction documents.
• Counsel on title insurance, surveys, zoning, environmental matters, and reporting requirements.
• Support multifamily agency finance matters with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA/HUD programs.
• Advise on program requirements, securitizations, and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with business, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and outside counsel on transactions and process improvements.
