Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced commercial real estate attorney to independently manage transactions from structuring through closing. The role encompasses acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, financing, and related drafting and negotiations for a broad range of real estate matters.

Ideal candidates hold a JD with active TX or FL bar admission and 3–7+ years of substantive transactional experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in Texas or Florida and in good standing.
• 3 to 7+ years of substantive transactional commercial real estate experience.
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, development, and closings.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage commercial real estate transactions from structuring to closing.
• Handle acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, leases, financing, and related transactional matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial real estate documents.
• Conduct and oversee due diligence efforts including title, survey, zoning, land use, environmental, lease, and organizational review.
• Identify legal and business risks and provide practical, commercially focused advice.
• Coordinate with lenders, title companies, brokers, and other parties to move transactions through closing.
• Manage multiple active matters with attention to detail and client service.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to support client matters.
• Build and maintain client relationships contributing to practice growth.
