Innovations Institute at the University of Connecticut is seeking a Continuous Quality Improvement Manager (Research Scientist) to direct CQI efforts across disseminated practice models such as Wraparound, MRSS, FOCUS, and PEARLS. Travel to Hartford Campus will be twice yearly at the employee’s expense.

Qualifications

• Earned Ph.D. in social work, public health, psychology, public policy/administration, program evaluation, health services research, applied methodology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading CQI, fidelity measurement, or systems evaluation in behavioral health or human services.
• Experience partnering with diverse stakeholders to develop CQI agendas.
• Experience creating data visualizations and communicating data-based findings to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with multi-project management and tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of CQI systems across disseminated practice models.
• Support design and dissemination of fidelity and quality tools with states and sites.
• Establish PDCA cycles with partners to translate CQI data into improvements.
• Ensure CQI deliverables align with contracts and university policies.
• Foster relationships with coaches and state partners to identify CQI needs.
• Supervise CQI and data staff, providing direction and development.
• Lead discussions on CQI infrastructure, programs, and dissemination events.
• Develop and disseminate white papers, briefs, and journal articles.
• Communicate CQI capabilities and findings to state leaders and partners.
• Coordinate deliverable timelines with leadership and support staff.
• Prepare accurate CQI reports for state and contract partners.
• Ensure compliance with contract, funder, and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate collaboration between division teams and state data leads.
• Direct CQI and data management processes for internal operations.
• Serve as SME for CQI policies and services.
• Handle IRB submissions where warranted.
• Work on related special projects as directed.
