Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions seeks a meticulous CPQ Business Analyst to support the in-house Configure, Price, Quote platform. You will gather requirements from business contacts and translate pricing rules into clear functional specs for the development team.

This role can be remote in the US or hybrid from a local office. You will collaborate with Pricing, QA, and IT to ensure accurate implementation and ongoing improvements to pricing workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3–7+ years of IT Business Analyst experience.
• Experience in Agile environments (SCRUM/KANBAN).
• Experience with CPQ tools (Salesforce, Oracle, etc.).
• Strong pricing, discounting, or revenue management understanding.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into technical requirements.
• Experience writing functional requirements documents.
• Excellent communication across business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze working group data to document current processes and improvements.
• Collaborate with Pricing to document business requirements for the CPQ system.
• Translate pricing logic into detailed functional requirements for developers.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Support clarification, testing, and SME validation of delivered functionality.
• Maintain documentation of pricing logic and CPQ behavior.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and system capabilities.
• Prioritize backlog items and assist in defect triage.
• Ensure stakeholder expectations are communicated to senior leadership.
• Communicate effectively with SMEs and delivery teams.
