Job summary

Combined Selection Group Ltd is seeking a Sales Data Analyst to support its North American retail sales organization, turning retail and syndicated data into actionable insights for major customers including Walmart, Target, Costco, and Kroger.

You will build dashboards in Power BI/Tableau, analyze promotional activity and trade spend, and work with retailer portals and syndicated data sources to drive data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field is required.
• 2-4 years of experience in CPG sales analytics, retail analytics, or related roles.
• Experience supporting retail customers such as Walmart, Target, Costco, Kroger, Albertsons, etc. is preferred.
• Strong skills building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Intermediate SQL skills for querying large datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, data modeling).
• Experience with retailer portals and syndicated data sources.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI / Tableau dashboards for Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
• Develop reports tracking key retail metrics such as sales, POS velocity, ACV, promotions, category growth, and customer trends.
• Automate recurring reporting and improve visibility into business performance.
• Use SQL to extract, clean, and analyze customer sales data from multiple sources.
• Analyze data from retailer platforms (Walmart Retail Link, Target Partners Online, Costco, Kroger) and syndicated data (Circana/IRI/NA).
• Perform period-over-period analysis, plan-vs-actual reporting, and promotional lift analysis.
• Provide insights to improve customer investment decisions and support National Account strategies.
