Job summary

Combined Selection Group Ltd is seeking a Sales Data Analyst to transform retail data into actionable insights for North American accounts, including Walmart and other major retailers. You will analyze sales, promotions, trade investment, and syndicated data, building dashboards and reports to guide commercial decisions.

The role requires strong SQL, Excel, and Power BI/Tableau skills, with experience in retailer portals and performance analytics. Remote work in the US is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in CPG sales analytics or retail analytics.
• Experience supporting major retailers (Walmart, Target, Costco, Kroger) preferred.
• Strong SQL, Excel, and dashboarding experience.

Responsibilities

• Sales Analytics & BI: Build and maintain Power BI/Tableau dashboards for Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
• Track key retail metrics: Sales performance, POS velocity, distribution, ACV, promotions.
• Automate recurring reporting to improve visibility into performance.
• Use SQL to extract, clean, and analyze customer sales data from multiple sources.
• Analyze data from retailer portals and syndicated data sources (Circana/IRI/SPINS).
• Perform PPO analysis: period-over-period, plan-vs-actual, promotional lift, category performance.
• Support cross-functional analytics projects with insights for National Accounts strategies.
