Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize complex Medicaid cost reports and filings.
• Analyze revenues and expenditures for proper classification and allocation.
• Research accounting guidance and regulatory requirements to support reporting and audits.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain supporting docs and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with external audits by preparing schedules, workpapers and explanations.
• Document accounting conclusions and methodologies for audit readiness.
• Support process improvements in cost reporting and controls.
• Regularly communicate with clients via meetings and email.
• Supervise a team of accountants.
