Qualifications

• Ability to analyze account fluctuations and year-to-year variances.
• Identify unusual items or issues and correct them going forward.
• Ensure reporting aligns with GAAP and GASB principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize complex Medicaid cost reports and filings.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and workpapers.
• Support process improvements related to cost reporting and controls.
• Supervise a team of accountants.
