Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize complex Medicaid cost reports and related filings.
• Analyze revenues and expenditures for proper classification, allowability, and allocation.
• Research and interpret accounting guidance and cost principles to support reporting and audits.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain supporting documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with external audits by preparing schedules, workpapers, and explanations.
• Document accounting conclusions and methodologies for audit readiness.
• Support process improvements in cost reporting and controls.
• Communicate with clients via meetings and email.
• Supervise a team of accountants.
