Job summary

Prisma International, Inc. is seeking experienced Court-Certified Interpreters to join as Independent Contractors for telephonic interpreting work with the Oregon Office of Administrative Hearings. This 100% remote position supports LEP speakers and English-only callers.

Candidates must be state-certified, legally eligible to work in the U.S., and available for over-the-phone interpretation in designated languages. Strong ethics and professional conduct are essential.

Qualifications

• Court-certified in any U.S. state with certificate available for verification.
• At least 1 year of telephonic interpretation in a legal setting.
• Proven ability to convey concepts accurately between English and LEP speaker.

Responsibilities

• Provide over-the-phone interpretation between state government representatives and LEP speakers.
• Maintain professional conduct, enunciation and timely delivery of interpretations.
• Follow speakers' directions and ensure flow without side conversations.
