Crystalia Glass LLC is seeking a Cost Engineer-Estimator to review architectural drawings and prepare detailed quotes for glass, aluminum, and steel partitions. The role requires a technical degree and experience with quantity take-offs, with strong English communication and the ability to work independently.

The position is full-time and remote, aligned with EST working hours, offering career development and a competitive package. Fluency in Russian and English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Strong spatial thinking and technical problem-solving.
• Experience with quantity take-offs from construction and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to read civil and mechanical drawings, hardware sets, and layouts.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Comfortable working with scaled PDFs (Adobe Acrobat).
• English on B2 level; Russian fluency.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings and quotes to determine installation options for glass, aluminum, and steel partitions.
• Perform precise take-offs for door and partition openings from drawings.
• Read and interpret door schedules and hardware sets for accurate product selection and compatibility.
• Communicate with the sales team to clarify scope, requirements and deadlines.
• Request necessary documentation including certifications as needed.
• Prepare detailed quotes with materials, scope, exclusions and conditions.
• Identify and correct technical errors in sales proposals and suggest alternatives.
