Job summary

Quality Glass and Mirror Service is seeking an Architectural Aluminum and Glass Estimator to own the full estimating process, from first drawing to final order. You will read architectural drawings, perform detailed takeoffs, and build quotes using industry software.

Responsibilities include sourcing supplier pricing, negotiating when needed, and driving quotes through to fulfillment while maintaining organized project files and vendor records.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of commercial estimating experience in architectural glass and/or aluminum systems.
• Hands-on proficiency with takeoff/estimating software and strong Excel skills.
• Direct experience with architectural aluminum systems and interior glass hardware.
• Comfort owning a project end-to-end, including placing and tracking material orders.
• Excellent follow-up, organization, and attention to detail; proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and specs to determine storefront system type, framing, glass makeup, hardware.
• Build accurate, detailed takeoffs and quotes using industry software.
• Source and confirm pricing with suppliers and negotiate as needed.
• Follow up with customers throughout the bid process and manage quotes end-to-end.
• Place and track material purchase orders and see projects through to fulfillment.
• Maintain organized project files, quote worksheets, and vendor records.
