Eliassen Group is seeking a Cost Accountant to support inventory accounting, cost analysis, and month-end close. The role will maintain cost accounting processes, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive accurate inventory valuation and COGS reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Cost accounting experience in inventory-focused environments.
• Proficiency in COGS analysis and inventory valuation.
• Experience supporting month-end close and journal entries.

Aufgaben

• Maintain cost accounting calculations and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory balance accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform standard cost reviews quarterly and assess impacts with Operations.
• Reconcile 3PLs, vendor shipments, and goods in transit.
• Support inventory system implementation, testing, and design of processes.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile accounts during close.
• Review financial statements and provide variance analysis to senior management.
• Analyze product costs, margins, and profitability; assist FP&A with reports.
• Lead audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
