Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Domain Consultant for SOC Transformation to be the expert on our Cortex portfolio. You will define technical solutions that secure our customers’ key business imperatives and evangelize our leading Security Intelligence and Automation, XDR, SOAR, and Incident Response offerings to win business.

You will collaborate with sales teams, present to senior leaders, and lead PoV initiatives to demonstrate value and align products with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in Security Operations or pre‑sales in SIEM, SOAR, SOC, or XDR/EDR environments.
• IBM QRadar design, deployment, and/or pre‑sales experience highly desirable.
• Experience working with customers with strong problem‑solving skills and a can‑do attitude.
• Solid understanding of Security Operations Center processes.
• Advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions.
• Scripting experience is a plus - Python preferred.
• Field sales role with travel; discuss specifics with recruiter.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to develop customer solutions within your specialization area.
• Present to customers as our expert at all levels from practitioner to senior leadership.
• Serve as the main technical contact for Cortex, assisting with RFIs/RFPs.
• Lead and support customer demonstrations that showcase our value proposition.
• Scope and lead Proof of Value (PoV) projects for prospective customers and partners.
• Drive high technical validation and PoV win rates in your area.
• Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
• Architect solutions to strengthen customers' security posture.
