Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking Specialized Travel Consultants to provide high-touch travel bookings and accommodation services for our top clients from a home-based setup. You’ll collaborate with your team to deliver creative and timely travel solutions, while upholding client travel policies and delivering an outstanding service experience.

This role requires strong communication, integrity, and attention to traveler information.

Qualifications

• 5 years of travel industry experience with fares and ticketing rules knowledge.
• Native Sabre GDS expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and data security.
• Understanding of travel industry across business and leisure travel.
• Ability to resolve issues quickly and independently.
• Teamwork and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (individuals and groups).
• Arrange and book domestic and international business travel (air, road, rail, and accommodations).
• Must have GDS Sabre experience.
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone, chat, email, or back-office systems.
• Act as a trusted advisor to proactively provide travel recommendations while enforcing policy.
• Work individually and as part of a team to meet account-specific goals.
