Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks a Tax Manager to build scalable tax operations and influence strategy. This remote role offers executive visibility and collaboration with leadership while shaping processes for future growth.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive tax experience, strong knowledge of corporate tax provisions and multi-state compliance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax.
• Experience with corporate tax provisions and compliance.
• Multi-state tax compliance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance, filings, and reporting activities.
• Prepare and review corporate tax provisions, reconciliations, journal entries, and related disclosures.
• Manage sales and use tax, excise tax, franchise tax, property tax, payroll tax, and other tax obligations.
• Partner with leadership on tax planning, business initiatives, acquisitions, and expansion opportunities.
• Coordinate tax audits, regulatory examinations, and external advisor relationships.
• Develop and enhance tax processes, controls, reporting systems, and compliance procedures.
