Job summary

Kaiser Aluminum is seeking a Corporate Hydraulic Engineer to lead hydraulic systems across manufacturing and industrial operations. The role focuses on improving reliability, reducing lifecycle costs, guiding maintenance strategies, and establishing corporate hydraulic design standards.

The role collaborates with plant operations, maintenance, reliability, OEMs, and vendors, reporting to Engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience in hydraulic systems and reliability engineering strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide technical leadership for hydraulic systems and fluid power applications.
• Develop and maintain company-wide hydraulic standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze performance data and drive preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives.
• Collaborate with facilities, vendors, and engineering teams to improve system reliability.
