Job summary

TerrAscend is seeking a diligent Legal Assistant to support the Senior Counsel, Securities & Financing and the Legal and Compliance team. This role will manage board materials, Diligent access, and entity maintenance for U.S. and international subsidiaries.

You will draft and review Form 4s, assist with D&O questionnaires, and help streamline legal services. Required is a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years in a paralegal role, preferably in a large firm or corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Paralegal degree or experience working in a large law firm or in-house corporate law department.
• At least 4 years of paralegal experience including project and operations management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; SharePoint; database (Access, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist with entity formation, state registrations and filings for U.S. and international subsidiaries.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining compliance related policies and processes.
• Collaborate with legal team on cross-functional projects to improve processes and scale operations.
• Respond to information requests from staff, auditors, outside counsel and regulatory agencies.
• Notarization and legalization of corporate documents in the U.S.; assist with equity matters and insurance renewals.
• Provide administrative support to the Legal department and liaison with other departments.
