Job summary

TerrAscend, a leading TSX-listed cannabis company with North American operations, seeks a Legal Assistant to support governance, board activities, and corporate filings. You will help manage the Diligent system, prepare materials, and assist with entity maintenance for subsidiaries.

The role reports to Senior Counsel, Securities & Financing, and collaborates across the Legal and Compliance team to develop efficient, scalable legal services. Remote work options are available where permitted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Paralegal degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of paralegal experience in a corporate or legal setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with board governance documents and materials.
• Manage Board of Directors online software (Diligent).
• Handle entity maintenance for subsidiaries and related filings.
• Draft and review Form 4s and other Section 16 filings.
• Support Directors and Officers questionnaires and governance activities.
• Improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide administrative support to the Legal department.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and vendors as needed.
