Job summary

Ensemble Performing Arts is seeking a Corporate General Ledger Accountant to maintain the consolidated general ledger and own the monthly close for a multi-entity organization. This role partners with Division Controllers and the Corporate Controller to deliver accurate, timely close processes.

The ideal candidate has strong GAAP knowledge, experience with multi-entity consolidations, and proficiency in NetSuite. Remote, full-time role with competitive benefits and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in multi-entity environments.
• Experience with consolidations across multiple legal entities.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and consolidation tools.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS).
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal control concepts.
• Experience supporting external audits.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own general ledger for corporate and consolidated entities, ensuring GAAP-compliant transactions.
• Manage monthly close process and post journal entries for corporate and holding entities.
• Support intercompany eliminations, balancing, and division-level mapping to consolidated statements.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for cash, payroll, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets.
• Maintain fixed asset and intangible asset schedules; support acquisition-related entries.
• Assist Division Controllers and Corporate Controller with policy, COA structure, and consistency across portfolio.
