Job summary

Mercor, a remote-first firm connecting elite finance talent with AI labs, invites a Corporate Finance & Accounting Professional to join as a contract hourly contributor. The role is remote, with a commitment of about 10 hours per week at $42 per hour, offering flexible scheduling for experienced practitioners.

You will handle core FP&A, accounting tasks, and financial analysis, collaborating with a small team and external partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in corporate finance, accounting, FP&A, audit, or tax.
• Experience working with spreadsheets daily.
• Occasional use of AI assistants.
• Clear writing skills in English.
• Hourly contractor

Responsibilities

• Write short, realistic requests as a real user would type.
• Work with the AI assistant on tasks, steering it and answering questions.
• Rate the experience and deliverable, noting what went well or badly.
• Evaluate AI assistants on realistic finance and accounting tasks.
• Provide feedback to improve AI model outputs and performance.
