Job summary

The Columbia Group is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to join our team remotely with easy access to the DC area for meetings. We value your ability to bring in new business, build client relationships, and coordinate meetings with clients and professionals.

A bachelor’s degree and DoD/Navy industry exposure are a plus. You will work collaboratively, write proposals clearly, and track multiple data points in spreadsheets using Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred; Marketing/Business Administration is advantageous.
• Experience in DoD and/or Navy industry is a plus.
• Proven ability to conduct marketing research and strategic communications.

Responsibilities

• Bring in new business and build client relationships.
• Meet potential clients in person when required and coordinate meetings.
• Respond to client requests and resolve issues to meet needs.
• Schedule meetings and manage calendars with clients and professionals.
• Research potential client prospects using public or private sources.
