Job summary

GMB Powerline Services, LLC is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support legal, corporate governance, licensing, records management, and SOC compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, the role coordinates corporate registrations, licenses, governance records, and regulatory filings with sensitivity to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of corporate paralegal, in‑house legal, licensing, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, or comparable experience.
• Experience managing corporate registrations and professional licensing across multiple states strongly.
• Experience with corporate governance, records retention, legal document production, and compliance audits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate corporate registrations and foreign qualifications across jurisdictions where GMB conducts business.
• Prepare, submit, track, and maintain annual/biennial reports, registrations, renewals, and amendments.
• Maintain centralized corporate compliance calendar and deadlines.
• Coordinate licensing processes for contractors, electrical, and other professionals; maintain licensing database.
• Maintain governance records, resolutions, consents, and related documents.
• Administer records retention program and SOC compliance documentation.
• Coordinate document production for litigation, audits, and compliance inquiries.
• Support legal department with calendar management, governance processes, and regulatory responses.

Education

Associate's or bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related discipline

Paralegal certificate from an accredited program
